November 12, 2025 Monthly Meeting –"Superheroes and Villains" (These superheroes, often portrayed as villains provide billions of dollars in economic services through these actions, but populations are threatened by habitat loss, disease, and climate change. They play an essential role in pest control, pollinating plants and dispersing seeds.)
December 17, 2025 "Holiday Luncheon" – (location "Deal Country Club")
January 14, 2026 Monthly Meeting –"Framed Picture Make and Take" (Make-and-take recycling projects are important because they are an effective and engaging way to teach about sustainability, reduce waste, and foster creativity in people of all ages. These hands-on projects, also known as upcycling, transform discarded items into new, useful, or decorative objects, showing that "trash" can be a valuable resource.)
February 2026 No Meeting
March 11, 2026 Monthly Meeting –"Floral Arranging" (Flower arrangements are important because they enhance emotional well-being, convey complex emotions, and leave lasting impressions at events. They serve as a connection to nature, improve mood, reduce stress, and foster creativity and social interaction. Symbolism in flowers helps personalize arrangements and create a unique narrative for any occasion, turning them into cherished memories and providing a warm, welcoming gesture.)
April 18, 2026 Monthly Meeting –"Hummingbird Habitat" (Hummingbirds are vital to their ecosystems primarily as pollinators, transferring pollen between flowers to enable plants to reproduce, and as predators, controlling insect populations. Their presence also serves as an indicator of environmental health due to their sensitivity to changes like habitat loss and climate change. By supporting these birds, we support the biodiversity and balance of natural systems, including the plants that depend on them and the insects they consume.)
May 13, 2026 "Spring Luncheon" (location Johnny Piancone's - 591 Broadway - Long Branch, NJ)
June 10, 2026 "Deep Cut Gardens and Park Trip" (Location: members self-drive to Deep Cut Gardens, 152 Red Hill Road, Middletown Township, NJ 07748. Deep Cut Gardens is dedicated to the home gardener. The 54 acres of gardens and greenhouses are planned as a living catalog of cultivated and native plants. In the late 1600s, the land that is now Deep Cut Park was first settled by Europeans after the Monmouth Tract was granted to Quaker settlers in 1665. The site was divided into several family farms and bordered Middletown Village, the heart of one of Monmouth County's oldest settlements.)
